Teacher of sociology, of sociology of change and of sociology of globalization at the college of Political Sciences "Cesare Alfieri" of the University of Florence. He is currently involved in the study of the relations between social change, political culture and generation dynamics, with particular stress on the identity dimensions of the condition of youth in some countries of the European Union. In the last years he has executed research activity at the Faculté des Sciences Humaines et Sociales of the University Paris V Sorbonne and the Facultad de Ciencias de la Información of the University Complutense of Madrid.
