More and more persons die each day in the attempt to enter Europe crossing borders which are military guarded. Since 2002 the Austrian group of artists Social Impact with the project Boerder Rescue searches and describes the safe paths to cross the border and enter Austria. The paths are published, updated and can be downloaded from the Internet together with the information on the asylum request in Austria and in the others European countries. The situations of marginality and social discomfort are always at the center of the works of Social Impact. With the project E55 /// On the Situation of Sex Workers Along the E55 Social Impact set up a language course with the prostitutes who work along the route E55; it is one of the routes with the most traffic which runs through central Europe; they worked with some criminal psychologists in order to make the road work safer. The contents of the course were then published and distributed for free to road prostitutes.
